User Data Deletion

What we delete

When you click Sign out, we delete your stored Facebook/Instagram connection from our database. Closing the tab is not logout; data stays until you Sign out, email us, or Meta sends a deletion callback. The same records are deleted for those requests:

• Facebook user ID and name
• Facebook Page ID, Page name, and Page access token
• Instagram Business account ID
• Saved company profile and Instagram style profile
• In-memory chat session data

After Sign out you must log in with Facebook again. Posts already published to Instagram stay on Instagram. Generated image files on disk are not always tied to an account; ask us if you also want those removed.

How to request deletion

1. Sign out of the app (this deletes your database row immediately), or email the operator of this instance at info@quytech.com with subject line Data deletion request. Closing the tab does not delete your data.
2. If you email us, include the Facebook name you used to sign in, and if you know it, the connected Page name or Instagram Business account.
3. We will delete any matching records that remain and confirm when done.

You can also disconnect the app in Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites → Instagram AI Post Studio → Remove. That revokes our API access. Logout already erases our server-side user record.

Meta data deletion callback

Meta can POST a signed deletion request to https://socialmediaagent.quytech.net/data-deletion-callback. We verify the signature, delete the matching user from our database, and return a confirmation URL. You can also use Sign out or the email request above. Paste this callback URL into the Facebook app settings as the Data Deletion Request Callback URL: https://socialmediaagent.quytech.net/data-deletion-callback.
